Today In Review

Today I made a move during market hours, left the day feeling fine, then the floor fell out for ENPH after hours. Let’s dive in.

BA

The AI indicated in the morning that BA (trading at $203) had support at the $197. With no exposure to travel or transport I thought this was an interesting one. As per usual I quickly opened the technicals. First thing I noticed was a line of support around $198 on the charts:

Looking at the usual indicators I also saw moderate signs of BA being slightly oversold:

When I then went to the options chain I saw some rather high premiums for $197.50. This is of course larger than the AI indicated to try, but at $2.02 premium I couldn’t resist but to roll the dice.

After Hours ENPH

After the market closed ENPH fell off a cliff. It closed at $220 but after hours quickly crashed to $185. This certainly puts my $210 put at risk. There are still 3 DTE, but this must have quite a recovery rally from here if it’s to help me out. Fully expect the portfolio to take a hit on this one.

Closing Thoughts

The ROI will go down when I make moves on ENPH, so take that 3% with a grain of salt. Fun week ahead!
